Meet Pastor Freddie J. Jack and Lady Rita M. Jack. Pastor Freddie J. Jack was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Freddie & Lucinda Jack in Baton Rouge, LA. A 1971 graduate of Ville Platte High School, he attended Southern University. He earned his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Theology Degrees from Christian Life School of Theology of Columbus, GA. He earned his Master of Divinity Degree from Beacon University, also of Columbus, GA.
He has been married to Rita Freeman Jack since 1974. He is also a father, father-in-law, and grandfather.
Pastor Jack began his preaching ministry on January 27, 1983, at the Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Ville Platte, Dr. Herman Arvie, Pastor. Called to the pastorate in 1993, he currently pastors the St. John Baptist Church of Ville Platte. He has served effectively in that capacity for 31 years and at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church of Elton, LA for 30 years.
Outside of his direct pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Jack is a man of the people, serving when and where he can. He serves on various boards and committees, including:
President – Seventh District Missionary Baptist Association
President – Ville Platte Ministerial Alliance
Member – Evangeline Parish F.E.M.A. Committee
And a host of other titles, duties, and responsibilities, too many to name.
When not immersed in the Word and in the nurturing of God’s people, he loves to enjoy his hobby. He is an avid outdoorsman.
